APCO is seeking to recruit a Consultant in Beijing.

SUMMARY: A Consultant is involved with day-to-day support of client projects by helping draft materials (e.g. sector reports, government engagement strategies credentials, proposals), and by conducting and analyzing research on a variety of client related issues, including economic, industry and regulatory issues. A Consultant is responsible for coordinating client meetings and events, and working on client deliverables under the supervision of an assigned account manager. A Consultant is expected to demonstrate strong research, analytical and strategic abilities, understand writing style fundamentals and have strong written and oral communication skills. A Consultant will interface with all levels of staff and may have contact with clients regarding project issues.

Qualifications and Requirements:
� Demonstrated fluency in written and oral English and Chinese
� Minimum of bachelors degree (post-graduate education will be an asset)
� Demonstrated research and analytical skills
� Demonstrated knowledge of/experience working in a sector of relevance to APCO's work, for example:
o Energy/clean energy
o Food and beverage
o Financial services
o Industrial/chemical
� Experience engaging with relevant central and local government in China
� Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize project work
� Professional and confident demeanor
� Familiarity with Microsoft office software
� At least 3 years related work experience
