APCO Worldwide, a global communications consulting firm headquartered in Washington, D.C. has an immediate opening for an Administrative Assistant. This position will be an integral partner to senior level staff members and provide support to them by supporting their day-to-day activities. You will help to identify action items and anticipate issues on their behalf; create, edit and/or proofread documents, presentations, contracts and agreements; coordinate events, meetings and travel arrangements; and support research efforts as needed. Ideal candidates must have 5+ years administrative experience supporting senior executives, excellent communication/customer service skills, be detail orientated and have the ability to juggle multiple assignments. High level of proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required.
