APCO Worldwide, a global communications consulting firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., has an immediate opening for a graphic and digital designer within our in-house creative studio. We are looking for a team player with excellent communication, time management, and organizational skills. Responsibilities will include working with an art director, creative director, and diverse clients to conceptualize and design a range of print and online media. APCO's clients include Fortune 500 companies, non profits and a wide range of organizations.
Qualified candidates will have exceptional creative abilities and the capacity to integrate message and visual elements. You should have a minimum of 3-5 years or relevant experience and a BA, BS, or BFA degree in graphic design, fine arts or a related field. A solid understanding of print production process, working from templates and photo research; strong skills in Adobe CS including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, basic HTML/Dreamweaver & Flash, and Adobe Acrobat; and proficiency with a PC/Mac + a with knowledge of PowerPoint and MS Office Suite are also required.
