APCO Worldwide, a global strategic communication consulting firm headquartered in Washington, D.C., is seeking a billing accountant responsible for managing the billing/invoicing process for APCO’s clients. You will work with our client account/project managers to produce and finalize monthly client invoices through a pre-bill/proforma process, prepare client budget tracking reports and reconcile client accounts, reconcile manual invoices and set up new client accounts or projects.

A successful candidate will have an accounting degree or equivalent work experience, and three or more years of client billing experience (retainer, time + material, etc.) preferably in a professional services firm. You must have proven experience using accounting/ERP software, excellent verbal and written communication and the ability to multi-task. Proficiency in MS Office products also required.
