APCO Worldwide, a leading global public affairs and strategic communications firm, is looking for an intern for its downtown Sacramento office for the spring 2010 term.

APCO allows interns to experience true on-the-job training in client services. Interns assist project managers with such tasks as online research, media monitoring, mailing coordination, database development, media pitching and materials drafting.

The ideal candidate will have professional experience or related coursework in communications, marketing or other related field; have strong writing and research skills; be able to multi-task and approach assignments independently; is willing to work at least 15 hours per week; and be available on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Candidates must be currently enrolled undergraduate or graduate students.

APCO will provide credit and/or salary to eligible candidates.
