APCO Worldwide, a global communication consulting firm, is seeking account supervisor/senior associate level candidates for our growing financial services practice in our DC office. This position will be responsible for managing global projects and budgets through proactive and strategic client relationship management, maintaining media relationships, preparing strategic communications plans, leading client meetings, serving as day-to-day client contact, managing staff, participating in business development activities, and providing excellent client service.

Qualified candidates will have BA/BS degree and 7+ years of relevant experience that includes working with the financial services industry or organizations with financial services-related interests/needs. You should also have demonstrated project and financial management skills, traditional and new media relations experience with a broad range of media relationships, and strong written/verbal communications skills. Candidates should be self-motivated, committed to the highest standards of quality and able to work well with teams. Investor relations and mergers and acquisitions communication preferred.
